Privacy Policy
BabakPlayer keeps your media on your device and sends no personal data to the developer. It is an Android media player that imports audio and video shared from other apps, plays them in order, and can cast them to Google Cast (Chromecast) devices on your local network. It has no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.
Media and playlists you import
When you share audio or video into BabakPlayer, the files are copied into the app's private storage
on your device, and the playlists you build are stored locally there too. This content stays on your
device — it is never uploaded to the developer or to any server. It is removed when you delete an item,
clear a playlist, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. To read audio and video on your device
the app uses the Android media permissions (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO and READ_MEDIA_VIDEO
on Android 13+, or read-storage access on Android 12 and below).
Two builds
BabakPlayer is published in two builds. The foss build (BabakPlayer-foss.apk,
the one submitted to F-Droid) has no Google Cast and no network access of any kind: from version 14 it requests
only the media permissions described above and WAKE_LOCK (so playback continues with the screen
off), and it contains no web server. Everything in the next section applies only to the
full build (BabakPlayer.apk).
Casting to Chromecast and other Cast devices
The full build of BabakPlayer includes Google Cast so you can play your media on Chromecast, Nest speakers, and other Cast-enabled devices on your Wi-Fi network. This is the only feature that uses the network, and it works as follows:
- To find Cast devices, the app scans your local Wi-Fi network. This is why the full build requests the Wi-Fi state and network state permissions.
- While you are casting, the app runs a small temporary web server on your phone and streams the
selected file directly to the Cast device over your local network (a
http://<your-phone>:<port>/…address that only exists on your own network). Your media travels from your phone to your Cast device on your own network — it is not uploaded to the developer or to the public internet. - The Google Cast framework (a Google component built into the app) communicates with the Cast device and with Google's Cast service to set up and control the session, and loads Google's standard media receiver onto the Cast device. That activity is handled by Google and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Casting runs only while you have an active Cast session.
- In the full build, the internet permission is required by the Google Cast framework and by this local streaming server.
No analytics, ads, or tracking
- No analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising.
- No third-party tracking SDKs, no cookies, and no advertising identifier.
- The developer receives no usage data, no telemetry, and no personal information from the app.
Device backup
If you have enabled Android Auto Backup or Google account backup, the operating system may include the app's local data in your own personal Google backup. This is controlled entirely by you and Google — the developer has no access to it. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

The app's About screen contains links to the developer's website (cocode.dk) and the project's GitHub repository. Selecting them opens your browser; those sites are governed by their own privacy policies.
Children
BabakPlayer does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.

سیاست حفظ حریم خصوصی
BabakPlayer رسانه‌های شما را روی دستگاهتان نگه می‌دارد و هیچ داده شخصی‌ای برای توسعه‌دهنده ارسال نمی‌کند. این یک پخش‌کنندهٔ رسانهٔ اندرویدی است که صدا و ویدیوی اشتراک‌گذاری‌شده از برنامه‌های دیگر را وارد می‌کند، آن‌ها را به ترتیب پخش می‌کند و می‌تواند آن‌ها را به دستگاه‌های Google Cast (کروم‌کست) در شبکهٔ محلی شما ارسال کند. این برنامه هیچ حساب کاربری، ابزار تحلیلی یا تبلیغاتی ندارد.
رسانه و لیست‌های پخشی که وارد می‌کنید
وقتی صدا یا ویدیویی را به BabakPlayer به اشتراک می‌گذارید، فایل‌ها در حافظهٔ خصوصی برنامه روی دستگاه شما
کپی می‌شوند و لیست‌های پخشی که می‌سازید نیز به‌صورت محلی همان‌جا ذخیره می‌شوند. این محتوا روی دستگاه شما
باقی می‌ماند و هرگز برای توسعه‌دهنده یا هیچ سروری بارگذاری نمی‌شود. این محتوا هنگام حذف یک مورد، پاک‌کردن
یک لیست پخش، پاک‌کردن داده‌های برنامه یا حذف نصب برنامه، از بین می‌رود. برنامه برای خواندن صدا و ویدیوی
روی دستگاه شما از مجوزهای رسانهٔ اندروید استفاده می‌کند (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO و
READ_MEDIA_VIDEO در اندروید ۱۳ به بالا، یا دسترسی خواندن حافظه در اندروید ۱۲ و پایین‌تر).
دو نسخه
BabakPlayer در دو نسخه منتشر می‌شود. نسخهٔ foss (BabakPlayer-foss.apk،
همان نسخه‌ای که برای F-Droid ارسال شده) Google Cast ندارد و هیچ‌گونه دسترسی به شبکه ندارد: از نسخهٔ ۱۴ فقط
مجوزهای رسانه‌ای یادشده در بالا و WAKE_LOCK (برای ادامهٔ پخش با صفحهٔ خاموش) را درخواست می‌کند و
هیچ وب‌سروری در آن نیست. آنچه در بخش بعدی آمده فقط به نسخهٔ کامل
(BabakPlayer.apk) مربوط است.
ارسال به کروم‌کست و سایر دستگاه‌های Cast
نسخهٔ کامل BabakPlayer از Google Cast پشتیبانی می‌کند تا بتوانید رسانهٔ خود را روی کروم‌کست، بلندگوهای Nest و سایر دستگاه‌های سازگار با Cast در شبکهٔ Wi‑Fi خود پخش کنید. این تنها قابلیتی است که از شبکه استفاده می‌کند و به این صورت کار می‌کند:
- برای یافتن دستگاه‌های Cast، برنامه شبکهٔ محلی Wi‑Fi شما را جست‌وجو می‌کند. به همین دلیل نسخهٔ کامل مجوزهای وضعیت Wi‑Fi و وضعیت شبکه را درخواست می‌کند.
- هنگام ارسال، برنامه یک وب‌سرور موقت کوچک روی گوشی شما اجرا می‌کند و فایل انتخاب‌شده را مستقیماً از طریق
شبکهٔ محلی شما به دستگاه Cast جریان می‌دهد (نشانی
http://<گوشی‌شما>:<پورت>/…که تنها روی شبکهٔ خودتان وجود دارد). رسانهٔ شما از گوشی شما به دستگاه Cast روی شبکهٔ خودتان منتقل می‌شود و برای توسعه‌دهنده یا روی اینترنت عمومی بارگذاری نمی‌شود. - چارچوب Google Cast (یک مؤلفهٔ گوگل که در برنامه تعبیه شده) برای برقراری و کنترل نشست با دستگاه Cast و سرویس Cast گوگل ارتباط برقرار می‌کند و گیرندهٔ رسانهٔ استاندارد گوگل را روی دستگاه Cast بارگذاری می‌کند. این فعالیت توسط گوگل انجام می‌شود و تابع سیاست حریم خصوصی گوگل است. ارسال فقط زمانی اجرا می‌شود که یک نشست Cast فعال داشته باشید.
- در نسخهٔ کامل، مجوز اینترنت برای چارچوب Google Cast و این سرور جریان محلی لازم است.
بدون ابزار تحلیلی، تبلیغات یا ردیابی
- هیچ ابزار تحلیلی، گزارش خطا و تبلیغاتی وجود ندارد.
- هیچ کیت توسعهٔ ردیابی شخص ثالث، کوکی و شناسهٔ تبلیغاتی وجود ندارد.
- توسعه‌دهنده هیچ داده کاربری، اطلاعات از راه دور یا اطلاعات شخصی‌ای از برنامه دریافت نمی‌کند.
پشتیبان‌گیری دستگاه
اگر پشتیبان‌گیری خودکار اندروید یا پشتیبان‌گیری حساب گوگل را فعال کرده باشید، سیستم‌عامل ممکن است داده‌های محلی برنامه را در پشتیبان شخصی گوگل شما بگنجاند. این کار کاملاً توسط شما و گوگل کنترل می‌شود و توسعه‌دهنده به آن دسترسی ندارد. برای جزئیات به سیاست حریم خصوصی گوگل مراجعه کنید.
پیوندهای بیرونی
صفحهٔ «دربارهٔ» برنامه شامل پیوندهایی به وب‌سایت توسعه‌دهنده (cocode.dk) و مخزن GitHub پروژه است. انتخاب آن‌ها مرورگر شما را باز می‌کند و این سایت‌ها تابع سیاست‌های حریم خصوصی خودشان هستند.
کودکان
BabakPlayer آگاهانه هیچ داده شخصی‌ای را از هیچ‌کس، از جمله کودکان، جمع‌آوری نمی‌کند.
تغییرات
در صورت تغییر این سیاست، نسخهٔ به‌روزشده با تاریخ جدید در همین صفحه منتشر خواهد شد.
